“THE PROCESS IS THE END. FOR IT IS THE PROCESS THAT IS GLORIFYING TO GOD.” --Oswald Chambers

"This life therefore, is not godliness but the process of becoming godly, not health but getting well, not being but becoming, not rest but exercise. We are not now what we shall be, but we are on the way. The process is not yet finished, but it is actively going on. This is not the goal, but it is the right road. At present, everything does not gleam and sparkle, but everything is being cleansed." --Martin Luther

Gospelink, Inc.

www.gospelink.org

In November 2006, right after Joseph came, we watched a video from Gospelink, Inc. on an agriculture project they were starting in Malawi. Dean, the director of the project is very good friends with our friends Al and Helen. We watched the video, thought it was cool, and that was that. Well, what do I think of as soon as we start looking into missions? We got the DVD, watched it again, then sent an email to Dean to see if he still needed an American family to help the project get off the ground. He already had a family, but was excited about the possibility of us going as well, to maybe further the project again in a 2nd location. From what we understand, Dean sent our email on to Lewis, the director of the project in Zambia. Lewis had specifically been praying for someone to get the agriculture going at the International Bible College in Zambia they were building. And here we were, plopped into his lap.
God is amazing in so many ways. When He calls you, He doesn’t call you to do something you aren’t skilled for. He matches you with your skills, and then He equips you to use them. We weren’t just looking for a place that goes out to plant churches. We were looking for a place where we could serve, where we could teach others, and evangelism would take place through our actions. We’re equipped for lifestyle evangelism.

Each time Brian spends time talking to Lewis or Dean, he just gets more and more excited. As we share with others, they get excited with us as well. We are praying that our church family and friends will really catch the vision of this project and support us and this organization.

Check out their website-it explains what they do. There main focus is support national pastors. On their home page it explains what that is and why. Our going over there as full-time missionaries is out of the norm for them. So we are all out of the boat!
